Chris Raffone: Director of Tennis Operations And Head Professional

Chris Raffone Chris Will be celebrating his 10th season as Head Professional at the Woodbridge Club in 2011. Prior to coming to the Woodbridge Club Chris served as an Assistant Professional at Oak Lane Country Club for 5 years. Chris joined the Woodbridge Club staff in 2002. He was the Club's primary head instructor and in 2004 was appointed Head Professional and Tennis Director. Chris played #1 singles at Central Connecticut State University and stayed on as an assistant coach for 2 years. He was Assistant Coach at Quinnipiac University for several years before accepting his current position as Head Coach of the Amity High School Boy's Team. During the winter months Chris takes many Woodbridge Club memebers to the nearby Milford Indoor Tennis Club where he is Co- Director of the Junior Tennis Team and a teaching professional. He is widely known in the Greater New Haven area for his energetic teaching style and dedication to personal service.

Scott Salway: Assistant Professional


Scott graduated from Glastonbury High School in 2003 and was captain of the tennis team. He attended Quinnipiac University, earning a bachelors degree in history and a masters of education in 2007 and 2008 respectively. Scott graduated Cum Laude, and was a member of the history honor society as well.
During this time Scott was a 4 year starter of the Men’s tennis team. He was either a first or second team all-conference selection all 4 years, served as team captain and also was a two time Academic All-American.
Scott has worked at The Woodbridge Club as part of the tennis staff for three years. During the school year Scott is a 7th and 8th grade social studies teacher at Twin Valley Middle School in Whitingham, VT.
Scott is looking forward to working with the members and enjoying an amazing summer 2011 at the Woodbridge Club.

Paul Chapman: Maintenance Staff

Paul Chapman is in charge of court maintenance, and has been at the Woodbridge Club for 4 years. Paul is a graduate of Bryant University and was on their tennis team.
