NEWS UP-DATE

The SCSL Diving Championships will be held at the Woodbridge Club on Monday July 23. The pool will be closed during the actual diving competition which will begin at 8:00am and conclude at approximately at 3:00pm. The pool will open during warmup times. Woodbridge Club members are invited to use the Paugusset Club pool during this timewithout charge. The Hawaiian Luau has been rescheduled for Sunday August 25.  If you are interested in helping with any events please leave your name with Paul Davis and the committee will get back to you. We will need some help on the Fourth particularly with the breakfast.

Please remember some of our important rules:

All members must sign-in on a daily basis. Guests must be registered immediately upon arrival at the club. Children under the age of 11 cannot remain at the club without adult supervision. Parents must watch children at the little pool. Only Coast Guard approved floatation devices are permitted in the pool. Glass bottles are not permitted in the pool or picnic areas.

PARTY PLANNING

The Woodbridge Club is available to our members for birthday parties and small outings.

Parties require at least two weeks advance notice and must be set up by the host (staff will assist) in the picnic area or on the deck attached to the clubhouse. In most cases when no additional staff is required, only guest fees for nonmembers will be charged.

The banquet hall and lounge are available for rental to both members and nonmembers for larger parties. In general these facilities are not used during the day when the club is open. With improvements to the banquet hall and installation of a new heating system, the clubhouse is now available during the winter. We are already getting reservations for 2003.
